Glencairn Land and Woods Trust was originally called the Cairnhead Community Forest Trust and was founded in 1998. Its aim was to create community woodland.
Our Beliefs
The Glencairn Land & Woods Trust works with the Glencairn community to promote biodiversity, improve access to land and promote sustainable land use through the creation of community woodland.

Hogmanay Village Walk. Meet at Cherry Tree for 10.30 am start. Route graded into 3 parts. Return to village around 3.15 pm , Refreshments in George Hotel 4 pm . Wear boots, waterproof clothing, and bring a picnic for lunch stop at 12.30 pm
