Glencairn Land and Woods Trust was originally called the Cairnhead Community Forest Trust and was founded in 1998. Its aim was to create community woodland.

Our Beliefs

The Glencairn Land & Woods Trust works with the Glencairn community to promote biodiversity, improve access to land and promote sustainable land use through the creation of community woodland.

Hogmanay Walk will be to Dalmacallan Forest via Ingleston and the Martyr’s Stone. Meet at the Cherry Tree across from Watson’s Grocers in Moniaive at 10:30 am on the 31st December for more information and to join the walk. Hogmanay Village Walk. Meet at Cherry Tree for 10.30 am start. Route graded into 3 parts.  Return to village around 3.15 pm , Refreshments in George Hotel 4 pm . Wear boots, waterproof clothing, and bring a picnic for lunch stop at 12.30 pm
